ROCNATION

ROCNATION
As a Creative Design Intern, my role involved both creative and technical work—ranging from digital interface design and promotional assets for platforms like Spotify to merchandise design, branding, and pitch deck development. I also supported file and asset organization, managed Excel-based tracking systems, and used my personal network to build talent directories for various artist projects across the roster.

Working at Roc Nation was one of the most transformative experiences of my creative journey so far. It was my first time working in-house at a record label, and being immersed in the heart of the music industry taught me more than I could’ve imagined. I witnessed just how quickly creative decisions need to be made—and how important it is to be intentional, adaptable, and clear in your vision, I walked in as an intern and left as a sharper, more confident designer and collaborator. I’m incredibly proud to have contributed to major projects like Megan Thee Stallion’s Act II rollout by designing social and listening platform assets, and I led the full design and concept development for Bootsy Collins’ Throwback Merch Collection—from ideation to execution.

This experience deepened not only my design skills but also my love for storytelling through music, visuals, and collaboration. I look forward to continuing my journey in the music industry, while also expanding my practice into editorial design and branding—where I can keep building meaningful, culturally-driven work.
